Daniel.Ink is an online store of original t-shirts designed by Daniel Pavlovic. He didn’t set out to be a t shirt designers, he really wanted to be a comedian, but he’d done a couple of illustrations in art class, screen-printed one onto a tee, and his friends wanted one.
That’s how his t-shirt business, Daniel.Ink, came into being. You may think, so what, just another kids with an idea. But it has given him a whole new direction in life, a new focus – did we mention he has cerebral palsy?
CP affects the muscles in Daniel’s legs and hands. He’s had corrective muscle surgery numerous times, he’s worn plastic splints for years, he has to exercise daily, he’s stretched and stretched, and he’s pretty much had botox everywhere! He also goes to physiotherapy, and a psychologist. It’s a job in itself having CP!
Daniel mostly gets around in a wheel chair, but he also has a Gopher, a walking frame, sticks, an all bells and whistles chair for basketball, and a converted car to suits his needs now that he has his drivers license.
Life may be a challenge for Daniel, but he’s enjoying that challenge! Which brings us to giving something back. It was important to Daniel from the start that he could perhaps help those that he has received so much from. So, at Daniel.Ink, they have decided to donate 10% of all profits to The Centre for Cerebral Palsy in Western Australia. Click here to donate yourself, and click here to check out the t-shirts.
