This weeks theme for a blooming great year is to:
“Do one thing at a time with specific intent. Stop trying to multi-task and practice being present.”
We are less effective when we are trying to put attention to more than one thing at a time. This adds to our stress levels and can lead to mistakes, frustration and feeling overwhelmed.
Practice actively concentrating on one thing at a time and see how your relationships flourish. Are your family, friends and colleagues accustomed to sharing your attention? Do you watch TV, play computer games or talk on the telephone whilst you are “spending time” with them?
Practice being present without any distractions and see how it affects your productivity, stress levels and relationships.
