Mental Illness in the Workplace– a course for Supervisors and Managers
This 1 day course provides an overview of mental health issues and how they might be impacting in your workplace. Participants learn about their obligations and strategies to respond to mental health issues at work.
Dealing With Difficult People
This half day course uncovers common difficult behaviours in workplaces and in relationships and gives participants helpful strategies to respond.
Workplace Mental Health Program
This 6 or 12 month program develops awareness and responsiveness to mental health problems and mental illness in workplaces.
Mental Health & Wellbeing
This 1.5 hour session explores the continuum of mental health and wellbeing and encourages participants to adopt strategies to optimise their own wellbeing.
Blooming Well at Work
A 3 hour program which enables participants to assess their current stress levels and to develop strategies to cope with work related stress and anxiety. Participants leave the session with a mental health plan and techniques to drive and enhance their own mental health and wellbeing.
Mental Health First Aid for Supervisors and Managers
This 2 day course has been customised to enable supervisors and managers to recognise and appropriately respond to staff members who are experiencing mental health problems or are in a mental health crisis. Participants will learn the symptoms and functional impact of common mental health problems and reasonable accommodations that can be made in the workplace to meet both the employee and employer's needs.
Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)
This 2 day course teaches adults how to assist other adults experiencing mental health problems or who are in a mental health crisis. The course can be delivered as two consecutive days, two non-consecutive days or as 4 modules of 3.5 hours each.
Dealing with Depression
This 3 hour program covers the symptoms, functional impact and resources for dealing with depression. Participants learn how to recognise the symptoms in themselves or others; how to approach someone whom they believe is experiencing depression, and gain information about community supports that are available.
All About Anxiety
This 3 hour program covers the symptoms, functional impact and resources for dealing with common anxiety disorders. Participants learn how to recognise the symptoms in themselves or others; how to approach someone whom they believe is experiencing an anxiety disorder and gain information about community supports that are available.
