Mental Health & Wellbeing
This 1.5 hour session explores the continuum of mental health & wellbeing and encourages participants to adopt strategies to optimise their own wellbeing.
Mental Health & Wellbeing for New Parents
This 2 hour session assists those about to become parents, or who have recently become parents, to identify their own mental health needs and to develop plans and strategies to enhance their own wellbeing.
Adolescents, Alcohol and Mental Health
This 2 hour session is designed to inform parents and teachers about the risks of alcohol and other substances to the mental health of their children. The session is designed to be used in schools and to be followed up by the participants working together to support their young people with alcohol use issues.
Caring for a Person With Mental Illness
This 1 day program is relevant for services that provide in-home or facility based support to people living with mental illness, as well as, family members who provide care and other carers. This interactive program teaches participants about the common mental illnesses, how living with these illnesses impacts on a person's functioning and the types of support and intervention that carers can provide to assist with this, as well as how to support their own wellbeing.
Blooming Well at Work
This 3 hour program which enables participants to assess their current stress levels and to develop strategies to cope with work related stress and anxiety. Participants leave the session with a mental health plan and techniques to drive and enhance their own mental health & wellbeing.
Psychosis
This 3 hour program covers the symptoms, functional impact and resources for Psychosis. Participants learn how to recognise the symptoms in themselves or others, how to approach someone whom they believe is experiencing a psychotic disorder and gain information about community supports that are available.
